‘Internship Program 2024’
Objective: To provide summer internship opportunities to nurture our young talents with early experience at IT related work and arouse their preference to study in relative subjects at institutions or work in this sector. Also, to enhance students’ knowledge of the technology industry, accumulate work experience and build their professional network.
Eligibility:
- Secondary: S4 or above (age at 16 by the first day of internship)
- Tertiary: Year 1 or above
Required materials:
- A copy of the most recent transcript/ report card
- Curriculum vitae with other skillset such as coding language learnt (advantageous)
Job Requirements:
- Internship: Work at least 3 days or 24 hours per week
- Job shadowing: Minimum 4-5 days in 2 consecutive weeks of work
All working hours and dates to be mutually agreed between the successful students and the participated company.
Program period: June to August 2024 (depending on the arrangement of the participated company)
Program partners (tentative): HKtag, Cyberport, HKSTP, Una Technologies, KONE Elevator (Hong Kong) Limited, Sampras (HK) Limited, etc.

- Marketing
- Administration, operations
Work Location: Physical Office (Remote working depends on the internship company)
Renumeration/Subsidy: Depends on the arrangement of the internship company
Program Timeline:

Notes:
- If you did not receive our invitation to the interview on or before April 19, 2024, you may consider the application as unsuccessful.
- To ensure the experience of the program, participants are not allowed to withdraw from the internship program once they have been accepted by the internship company.
- Participants will be matched with one company at a time, and if they are not accepted, they will be matched with another company, if applicable.
- Successful applicants are required to reserve time to attend the Internship Programme 2024 Presentation Ceremony (tentatively scheduled to be held on 26 August 2024).
- Interns are required to complete the activity report at the end of the internship period to complete the project and obtain a certificate of completion.
- In case of disputes, the Hong Kong Technology Advancement Group (the Organiser) has the right to make final decision.
Application deadline: 12 April 2024 (Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis).
