Smart Campus 2026 – AI for Tomorrow’s Leaders” focuses on “AI, Cybersecurity and Digital Education”, is funded by Innovation and Technology Commission,encouraging and nurturing our younger generations is fundamental to build up Smart Leaders in Hong Kong.  HKtag is glad that AiTLE is our Co-organiser, Google with Gemini Academy as our Strategic Partner, the Education Bureau of HKSAR and Hong Kong Education City (HKedCity) are our  Supporting Organisations, and The Chamber of Hong Kong Computer Industry as our Venue Sponsor with many of our friendly industry stakeholders being our Event Partners of this program.  The purpose of this program is to encourage more applications of AI and digital tools to enhance our learning experience and effective education, while ensuring AI literacy and knowledge on cybersecurity are well delivered . It aims to cultivate talents at schools with innovative thinking and facilitate diversified exchanges between teachers and students, leading to more technological applications in our life.

With high concern on innovative applications of technology with environmental governance in all areas of living including development of Smart Schools in the recent years, HKtag finds it essential to promote the importance of technology to local secondary schools, students and their parents through education and user experience with our 4 phases:        

  1. I&T Education Summit + a series of I&T learning for teachers and students from June to July 2026, and from September to October other learning series for teachers ;

  2. Sharing on “AI, Cybersecurity and Digital Education” at schools in different districts, with more introduction on AI literacy and prompting skillsets;

  3. Smart AI Competition, to be launched after Summit, recruiting all local secondary school teachers (individual) and school students (form in teams) to participate and create learning or teaching tools that assist in learning or instruction using generative AI (GAI);

  4.  “Smart AI Solution Exhibition” & “Award Presentation” in The Hong Kong Computer and Communications Festival for public’s awareness – exhibit advanced technologies and AI applications of 4 startup companies, and the Smart AI Competition finalists with outstanding entries, raising awareness among students, teachers, parents and the public about artificial intelligence and data applications, while promoting our goal for building a sustainable ecosystem of learning and education. As an acknowledgement of their efforts, this showcase and the ceremony are served as a credit of thankfulness to all participated schools, after their completion of our learning series and presentation of their innovative solutions.
