Our “Free School Talk” is an on-site interactive workshop designed to equip students and educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to understand and effectively utilize AI in education and beyond. This immersive experience goes beyond traditional lectures, merging theory with practice. Students won’t just listen—they can have the chance to interact with latest AI tool. Teachers, too, will gain valuable resources to guide students in using AI responsibly.
HKtag is proud to partner with our Strategic and Media Partners to deliver this immersive and impactful experience. Together, we hope to nurture our young talents, empowering them with AI literacy to become informed pioneers, not just users of AI.
“Smart Campus 2026 – AI for Tomorrow’s Leaders” is now open for registration. Building on last year’s AI focus, the programme this year expands to include Cybersecurity Fundamentals and Digital Literacy — directly aligned with the Education Bureau’s STEM and IT education priorities, and designed to address the real digital challenges students face today.
A Free School Talk is available to all local primary and secondary schools. Led by industry professional trainers on-site, the session includes a hands-on AI prompting experience. Whole-grade or whole-school participation is welcome — students simply need to bring a personal device (e.g. iPad), with no additional preparation required from teachers.
What Students / Teachers/ Parents Will Learn
Through interactive sessions led by industry professionals, students will:
- Understand AI Ethics: Explore responsible AI chatbot usage, addressing challenges like AI hallucinations and bias in AI systems.
- Evaluate AI’s Role through scenario-based activities.
- Master Prompt Design: Engage in hands-on exercises to craft effective text prompts.
- Dive into latest AI Principles and Cyber Security Knowledge with digital education trends to understand current IT development.
- Expected Outcomes
- By the end of the program, students will:
- Be well-informed about AI with literacy on AI and Cyber Security, including its potential and limitations.
- Develop critical thinking skills, evaluate AI tools and make responsible decisions.

- Free access to the latest app to experiment with its functions.
- Hands-on practice on designing prompts.

- Duration: around 1 hour.
- Target: Age 10+ Upper Primary and Secondary School Students in Hong Kong
- Deadline of Registration: 31 December 2026*
